Did you know it's Music In Our Schools Month? Well, this will be sure to make you proud of our student's musical talents. Check it out!

Students were paired with Haven mentees to develop their songwriting skills, recording, engineering, podcasting, and photography. The kids had a blast and bonded with peer mentors

Along with this amazing photo, mentor, and media expert, Dennis Thompson gave us some more insight into the trip:
“We had the opportunity to expose elementary school-age children to art and creativity in a fun and engaging way. We split them into groups and showed the different aspects of Haven’s program. I was a part of the Haven Cinema station, where we taught some camera fundamentals and gave them the chance to use the camera themselves and take some fun portraits and group shots. We all had a great time!”

We are looking forward to exposing more of our students in the Chicago region to this dope expansion of our family! Shoutout to the #GOGO Chi-Town team for always pouring into our youth!
